QUARTERLY SERVICE GENERAL PROTOCAL
step 1: Spider webbing and wasp nest removal/inspection
Using a 12 foot extension pole, a spider web brush head, and a flat putty knife I remove all the spider webbing and the wasp nests from the home, pool cage, and porches. In heavily infested areas like pool cages and around exterior lights spider repellants may be applied as well. Step one is the most important step. While performing this step I'm also inspecting the property. Looking for cracks I can seal up, plant infections and any pests around that may need addressed.
Step 2: entry points around the home
Treating around possible entry points. Typically this is around windows, doors, light fixtures, and places where utilities enter the home. If I find small gaps around plumbing egress points or small cracks I will seal them up with clear paintable caulking.
Step 3: establishing a perimeter barrier and treating Landscaping
Establishing a perimeter barrier around the home, porches, pool cages, sheds, and detached garages. I also treat around all landscaping features, the base of trees, and apply systemics to treatable plants. This will help protect them from insects like aphids and mealy bugs. Preventing your plants from becoming food sources for ants. A little bit of prevention can go a long way here in Florida.
Step 4: Granular application
Applying granules outside of the perimeter barrier, into mulch beds, dense foliage, and underbrush where pests hide. The product used during this step will depend upon multiple factors. The current insect pressure, the time of year, and pet accessibility are all factors I take in when customizing your service.
Step 5: Ants in the yard
